Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge 2017: what to expect

All you need to know about the UAE’s biggest cycling event

It’s time to get back on the bike – last year’s Cycle Challenge saw over 2000 riders race to the finish line. Whether you missed 2016’s event or simply want to have another go, you’re in luck – as well as the big day, there are four build-up rides to look forward to. Here’s everything you need to know to get into gear:

Friday, 8 September 2017: Build-up ride

Distance: 32.5km
Location: Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City - District One Cycle Track

Friday, 29 September 2017: Build-up ride 2

Distance: 50km

Cyclists can enjoy delicious dishes – such as cheese omelettes, granola pots and sandwiches – after every build-up ride courtesy of the Spinneys chefs (find out what to eat before you race here). You can also bring family and friends along to the main event for a day filled with fun activities for the little ones, prizes to be won, music, food trucks and more.
