Preheat the oven to 180°C, gas mark 4. Line a large baking sheet with baking paper.
Combine the oats, almonds, coconut and cashews in a bowl.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter and add to a blender with the dates, spices, salt and date syrup. Stir through the oats mixture until well coated.
Spread the granola out on a lined baking sheet, press it down well and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Allow to cool slightly then break into chunks. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
Serve with yoghurt and fresh fruit.
