Strawberry, maple and chia agua fresca

Agua frescas are all the rage at the moment - they're such easy wins we can see why. Mix up a pitcher of this fruity, chia-based energy drink for a party pleaser!

INGREDIENTS

200g spinneysFOOD Strawberries, chopped
3 tbsp spinneysFOOD Maple Syrup
Pinch of pink Himalayan salt
4 cups filtered water (or do a half-and-half mix of coconut water and filtered water)
1tbsp chia seeds
Juice of 2 limes

Ice cubes

METHOD

    Place the strawberries, maple syrup, salt and water in the jug of a blender and blitz until completely combined.

    Over a serving jug, pour the mix through a strainer to get rid of any fibrous bits.

    Add the chia seeds and whisk together and refrigerate for 1 hour.

  • 4

    When ready to serve, give it a quick whisk and add the lime juice.

  • 5

    Serve with whole strawberries and ice.
