800g spinneysFOOD Baby Carrots with Tops, scrubbed and halved lengthways
6 tbsp butter, cubed
3 tbsp brown sugar
80ml spinneysFOOD Maple Syrup
1 tsp sumac
spinneysFOOD Sea Salt, to taste
spinneysFOOD Whole Black Peppercorns, freshly ground, to taste
1 garlic bulb, halved widthways

To serve

spinneysFOOD Mediterranean Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for drizzling
1 tbsp spinneysFOOD White Sesame Seeds

    Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius, gas mark 6.

    Place the carrots in a roasting dish and top with the butter, sugar, maple syrup and sumac. Season well with salt and pepper.

    Place the halved garlic bulb in the tray and bake for 15 minutes, tossing every now and then.

    Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and sesame seeds.
