INGREDIENTS

For the yoghurt, cherry and chia seed smoothie

40g chia seeds, plus extra to decorate
160ml almond milk or milk
50g spinneysFOOD Honey
150g overripe cherries, pitted, puréed, plus extra to decorate
250ml plain thick yoghurt

For the avocado and kale smoothie

1 overripe avocado, peeled and seeded
250g kale, chopped
2 ripe bananas, frozen (cut into smaller pieces before freezing)
2 tbsp almond butter
200ml coconut milk

To decorate

Chia seeds
Flaked almonds, toasted
Banana, sliced

METHOD

    Soak the chia seeds in the almond milk for at least 2 hours or overnight

    Mix the soaked chia seeds, honey, cherry purée and the yoghurt together and mix well. 3 Blend together all the ingredients for the avocado and kale smoothie mixture

    Pour the two smoothies into 4 bowls (pour both into the bowl at the same time so it can meet in the middle of the bowl)

    Top the smoothie bowls with more chia seeds, cherries, toasted flaked almonds and sliced banana
