Garlic lamb koftas

Serves: 4 Prepare & Cook:


  • 1 tbsp SpinneysFood Garlic Addict Seasoning, ground to a powder
  • 16 SpinneysFood Lamb Meatballs with Fresh Mint
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 pieces Arabic bread, toasted
  • 1 pot SpinneysFood Hummus
  • pickled vegetables from a jar, to serve
  • mixed salad leaves, to serve
  • parsley, coriander or mint leaves, to garnish (optional)


  1. Tip the ground garlic seasoning onto a large plate. Add the lamb meatballs and roll to coat well.
  2. Set a large frying pan with the olive oil over a medium heat. Fry the meatballs for 8-10 minutes, until browned all over and cooked.
  3. Spread the bread with SpinneysFood Hummus. Top with the lamb meatballs, pickled vegetables and salad leaves. Garnish with herbs, if you like, and serve any remaining hummus on the side. Finish with plenty of black pepper.
