Beef burgers with orange and shallot gremolata

Serves: 4 Prepare & Cook:


  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 spinneysFOOD Peeled Garlic Cloves, crushed
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • zest and juice of ½ orange
  • ½ bunch spinneysFOOD Parsley, leaves picked and chopped
  • 4 spinneysFOOD Organic Beef Burgers
  • 4 spinneysFOOD Brioche Buns, toasted
  • baby gem lettuce leaves, to serve


  1. Set a small saucepan with 4 tbsp oil over a medium-low heat. Cook the garlic and shallot for 30-60 seconds until slightly softened. Remove from the heat, cool for 5 minutes then stir in the orange zest and juice and chopped parsley. Season. aves and a burger then top with the gremolata.
  2. Set a large frying pan with the remaining oil over a medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-6 minutes on each side, or until done to your liking.
  3. Layer each bun base with salad leaves and a burger then top with the gremolata.
