At Spinneys, all our beef is sourced from family farms and is 100% traceable. We work very closely with our partner farms to ensure the right product is available on the shelves for our valued customers. The farms we have selected to work with share our values and passion for great food and are also committed to our high standards of quality, food safety and animal welfare.
Spinneys proudly sell beef from three countries – Australia – where we source 70 day grain-fed, Angus and Wagyu; New Zealand and Ireland.
All of our Australian beef is from Stanbroke family farm in Queensland, where the beef selected for Spinneys is grain fed for 70 days. Using this trusted feeding regime we can guarantee consistency in terms of marbling and tenderness to our customers every time.
All our Irish and New Zealand beef is grass fed. Animals graze on lush green pastures as both countries enjoy temperate climates.
Our customers can expect a variety of fresh quality assured beef every day. Our specialist butchers prepare and provide our customers with prime cuts of rib-eye steaks, sirloin steaks and rump joints. Prime cuts are matured for extra tenderness and flavour before it goes on sale, so it's in the hands of experts from farm to counter. Fresh processed products such as burgers, sausages and kebabs are produced daily in our new state of the art production facility and delivered on a daily basis.
